Hey Fam:
Zora Neale Hurston once said, “Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place.” Whew. That hit me in my gut the first time I read it. I wonder if we all might consider how we’ve hidden ourselves in this life.
And why.
It’s so easy to do, right? Some of us dim our shine, making ourselves small in order to not rock any boats or because we’ve been socialized to do that. Others of us over-perform (another form of hiding) and over-compensate in an effort to prove our worth. 🙋🏾♀️ Neither way of being allows for our authentic selves to show up in the world. Self-love, as well as the love we find in community and in our relationships, has the powerful ability to draw us out. Let’s sit today with the idea that we can be our whole selves in every space we enter.
Be/well.

I promise, I can talk (type) all day. But I really want to develop this community into a space where we can engage each other in conversation and with in ways that align with my intentions. So I really do want to know… What kinds of content would you like to see here? More videos? Beautiful photography? Courses? Content on writing and publishing? More resources on healing? I’m willing to do it all but want to make sure that I’m truly speaking to your hearts. So let me know, alright? - tmlg
that quote is so powerful. And I am so curious as to just see it all from all the creators I follow on here. I like hearing the musings. I like the videos. I like the writing. I just like seeing it all. I know thats not very helpful, but it is so true for me. Every person is so different.
